General Medical Massage Therapy

Depending on your diagnosis, we will use a variety of massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissue. The goal of this service is to reduce pain, improve function, and heal injuries.  Conditions that we can work with  include chronic pain, injuries, post-surgical recovery, whiplash, herniated discs, sciatica, scoliosis, headaches, back pain, muscle sprains, circulatory issues, inflammation, swelling and edema, range of motion and flexibility issues, and more. Deep Tissue Therapy

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is often used to relieve pain, improve range of motion, and reduce tension and inflammation resulting from a variety of  causes.  Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle stripping, and neuromuscular therapy are all used in deep tissue massage.

Targeted Remedial Relaxation Therapy

Targeted remedial (intended as a remedy) relaxation therapy is a therapeutic massage treatment designed to address the physiological impact of stress and facilitate overall wellness. Unlike the standard “spa treatment”, this service includes an in-depth intake to ascertain your needs and help create an individualized treatment, and uses both western and eastern modalities, including massage for vagus nerve stimulation and cold therapy.

Sports Massage Plus

Sports massage is designed to focus on specific muscles groups that are routinely used in athletics or daily repetitive motions. It is especially helpful for people who push their bodies for performance, as it focus on the areas that are most used and stressed during physical activities. This treatment uses  variety of different massage techniques, stretching, active and passive range of motion modalities, assisted exercise, instrument assisted modalities, and kinesiology taping.

Massage Therapy for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety

This proprietary treatment for men focuses on working with the physical manifestation of trauma, stress, and anxiety by using a combination of eastern and western techniques including passive exercise, classic massage therapy for the autonomic nervous system, respiratory massage, Shiatsu, Ayurvedic medicine, and foot reflexology.


120 Minute Session: $200

Pelvic Floor Therapy

This medical massage therapy treatment targets the pelvic floor muscles and accessory muscles of the pelvis. It includes active and passive exercise and stretch. 

This therapy can address multiple concerns including.: erectile dysfunction incontinence, and ejaculatory issues.

 

For athletes, the pelvic floor plays a significant role in the body's core. The core muscles provide support, strength, and stability to the spine,  as well as assisting in body strength and movement.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage massage, also called manual lymphatic drainage (MLD),  relieve swelling by moving fluid from your tissues to your functioning lymph vessels and lymph nodes. Lymphatic  drainage is a common therapy for swelling  as a result of surgery, infection, trauma and disease. Using lymphatic drainage techniques may have a temporary trimming effect and increase muscle definition because it helps move fluid through the body.

Massage Therapy for Post Surgical and Injury Scarring

Massage therapy for post surgical and injury scarring  is a treatment that includes assorted levels of manual, soft tissue manipulation to help reduce scar tissue visibility, prevent the scar from becoming hard and raised, and to prevent it from sticking to the underlying tissues including muscles and bones, which can limit movement. This service includes specialized topical products and scar tape.

Foot Reflexology

Foot reflexology is a treatment that’s been practiced for centuries. It involves applying pressure to different points on the bottom of the foot. In addition to the relaxing impact of the treatment, according to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), these points correspond to different systems, organs, and areas of the body. Reflexology treatments can be for systemic benefits or target a specific concern.

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis has a set of symptoms above and beyond regular foot pain. Because of this musculoskeletal pathology can come from a variety of postural issues, repetitive motion injuries, muscles, tissues, and structures in the lower extremity. This treatment aims to find the root cause of plantar fasciitis and help alleviate pain through proper therapeutic modalities.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy can loosen adhesions, drain excess fluids and toxins, revitalize connective tissue, increase blood flow to skin and muscles, and help reduce pain.

Respiratory Massage

Respiratory massage focuses on the muscles of inhalation and exhalation located in the neck, chest, stomach, and back. When these muscles become tight from stress, repetitive motion, postural issues, or a chronic cough or illness they can impact beathing capacity. Respiratory massage may help you breathe easier.

Neck Injuries

Injuries to the muscles and discs in the neck can cause symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, and other dysfunctions throughout the back, chest, arms, hands and fingers. There are multiple nerve compressions areas that can cause these sensations and we will assess your circumstances and help alleviate your symptoms with the appropriate therapeutic treatments.

Post Surgical Lymphatic Drainage

Both general surgeries and plastic surgery procedures can disrupt a person’s lymphatic channels. It can take up to three months for new lymphatic ducts to form and for others to repair following a surgery. Adding lymphatic massages to your recovery program can help speed healing. 


In addition, post surgical lymphatic drainage can help: 


Improve the aesthetics by reducing congestion in the areas worked on. 

Help prevent infection due to fluid congestion following surgery. 

Skin tissues heal faster.

Help remove anesthesia or medication left in the patient’s body

Reduce pain and discomfort.
